Phyllis Bell Conway, 77, of New Albany, died Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at her home in New Albany. She was born October 12, 1943, in New Albany, to the late James and Jacie Luther Bell. Phyllis had a passion for art and design and had formerly worked as an art teacher and at Kimball International in Borden, Indiana and at Libs Paving in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ronald B. Conway.
Survivors include her sons, Tim Conway of Sellersburg, Indiana, Todd Conway (Penny) of Walnut Creek, California, and Tony Conway of New Albany; her brothers, Roger Bell (Nadine), James Bell (Evelyn), Earl Bell (Pam), and Ronald Bell (Debbie); her sister, Vivian Reinhardt; her grandchildren, Matthew Conway and Nicole Wieteska (Tom); and her great grandchildren, Logan and Liam Wieteska.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Father Kyle Rodden will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
