Pearl Alcorn, 62, of Corydon, died Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at her home near Corydon.  She was born October 8, 1961, in Corydon, to the late Mitchell Alcorn, Sr. and Viola Tincher Alcorn.  She was a retired custodian at Corydon Central High School, and was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon, at Norstam Veneers near Mauckport, Indiana, and at Carl F Booth & Company in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  Pearl was also an avid softball player.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step mother, Karen Willis Alcorn; and her siblings, Sue Galloway and Michael Eve.

 

Survivors include Michael Cash, whom she considered her son; her loving friend and companion, Mindy Sterling; her siblings, Ladonna King of Franklin, Ohio, Harlan “Eddie” Eve (Annette) of Germantown, Ohio, Wanna Loveless of Dayton, Ohio, Gina Beckwith (David) of West Chester, Ohio, Robert Alcorn (Lona) of Russell Springs, Kentucky, Bertie Faulkner of Corydon, Mitchell Alcorn, Jr. (Missy) of Corydon, and Russell Alcorn (Mary Ann) of Corydon; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

 

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. 

 

Visitation will be after 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
