Paul Wayne Housel, 92, of Corydon, died Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born September 22, 1929, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Ross and Alliene Shireman Housel. He was a retired shipping and packing foreman at Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon, was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 70 years, Joyce E. Byrne Housel; and his brothers, Kelso and William Housel.
Survivors include his daughter, Gloria Housel; and his nieces, Barbara Fowler and Janet Webster.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Andy Hansen will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Old Capitol United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be Allen Edwards, Jackson Elliott, Tommy Wiseman, Brian Folz, Jesse Folz, Rick Haines, and Evan Webster.
