Obituary
Paul Gordon Brown, 86, of Elizabeth, died Friday, June 30, 2023, at his home near Elizabeth. He was born June 22, 1937, in Laconia, Indiana, to the late Roscoe Gordon and Beatrice Stepro Brown. He was retired from General Electric in Louisville after 32 years, was formerly employed with PharMerica in Louisville and with Walter’s Trucking, and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Joyce Rae Dawson Brown; and his brothers, Terry Brown (Marilyn) of Laconia and Roger Brown (Mary) of Elizabeth.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 3, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Richard Goodwin will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery near Elizabeth.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Allen Brown, Michael Brown, Marty Casper and Greg Linkmeyer.
