Paul E. Stepro, 77, of Corydon, died Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon. He was born March 2, 1944, in Corydon, to the late Lee Boone Stepro and Elsie Ellen Feller Stepro Bailey. He was retired from the Town of Corydon after 23 years, was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2950 in Corydon, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, William and Carlton Stepro; and his sisters, Virginia Sawyer and Joyce Florence.
Survivors include his daughter, Cheryl Gugel (Ned) of Paoli, Indiana; his brother, Larry Stepro (Carol) of Corydon; his sisters, Betty Crone (Jimmie) of Corydon, Nancy Stowers of Kentucky, and Delores Bailey Smith of New Albany, Indiana; his grandchildren, Brandi Bosler (Michael), Brooke Kelley, Haley Mousty, and Aaron Gugel; and his great grandchildren, Braelynn Kelley, Rosie Bosler, and Christopher Bosler.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Mark Manship will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
