Onita Imogene Trent

Onita “Imogene” Trent, 85, of Corydon, Indiana, died Monday, October 2, 2023, at Riverbend Assisted Living Home in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  She was born February 21, 1938, in Lothair, Kentucky, to the late Arthur and Mary (Wallace) Trent.  She was a member of First Capital Christian Church in Corydon, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Geraldine Irene McCullum; and her grandparents, James and Zilpha Wallace and Raleigh & Effie Trent.

Survivors include her sisters, Barbara Gaddie (Bill) of Louisville, Kentucky and Betty Cunningham (Fred) of Jeffersonville; her nieces, Sandra Teeter (Scott) of Corydon, Erica Waynescott of Corydon, Patty Campbell of Jeffersonville, Teresa McDowell-Jessie (Wendell) of Louisville, Debra Jones of Anderson, Indiana and Lori Roehling (Todd) of Greenwood, Indiana; and her nephews, Tony Stinson (Jenny) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mike McCullum (Sherry) of Anderson and Dennis McCullum of Anderson.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Donnie Whitlow will officiate.  Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home

Pallbearers will be Scott Teeter, Todd Roehling, Cameron Teeter, Craig Waynescott, Darren Waynescott and Jeffery Durham.
