Norma Virginia Wiseman

Norma Virginia Wiseman, 91, of Corydon, died Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.  She was born November 24, 1931, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Clarence and Tina Heishman Rhoads.  She was formerly employed at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon, as a cook for the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, and at the old Indiana Army Ammunition Bag Plant near Charlestown, Indiana.  She was also a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church near Mauckport, Indiana, and a former member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church near Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Earl Ray Kirkham and Forrest Carl Wiseman; her grandson, Jesse James Wiseman; her great great grandson, Avery; her brothers, Jr. Rhodes, and Max, Corky, and Larry Rhoads; her sister, Mary Wolfe; her sons in law, Don Smith and Bobby Bruner; and her daughters in law, Karyn Wiseman and Gail Kirkham.

Survivors include her sons, Dennis Kirkham of Corydon, Mike Kirkham (Wanda) of Corydon, Tony Kirkham (Laurie) of Corydon, Jim Wiseman (Tonya) of Central, and Todd Wiseman of Jacksonville, Florida; her daughters, Rhonda Bowman (Ralph) of Corydon, Debbie Wiseman of Corydon, Donna Bailey (Brian) of Central, and Ruth Bruner of Corydon; 19 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
