Nelda M. Schreiber

Nelda M. Schreiber, 75, of Corydon, Indiana, died Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born September 18, 1946, in Elkridge, Maryland, to Howard and Nelda Butler Young.  She was a Christian school teacher, a volunteer clerk at Fellowship Baptist Church and enjoyed Sudoku and doing picture puzzles in her spare time.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Richard “Rick” Schreiber; her son, Jeffrey Schreiber (Michelle); her grandchildren, Ethan (Lillia), Evan, Elise, Elliana and Eliyah; and her brother, Howard “Bud” Young, Jr. (Jeanie).

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church near Corydon.  Pastor James Shaw will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Pallbearers will be Joe King, Justin Shaw, Jake Shaw, Ethan Schreiber, Phil Morgan and Evan Schreiber.
