Nancy P. Baker, 69, of Corydon, Indiana, passed to the graces of our Lord and Savior on July 12, 2022 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

 

She was a transplant from Indianapolis and lived on a farm in Central, Indiana for over 20 years.

 

Proceeding her in death was her son, Christopher Baker, her father, Jesse Baker, her mother Audrey (Andrews) (Baker) Johnson, and sisters Mary (Baker) (Morris) Thompson, Marcia Adams, and Debra (Baker) Uhl. 

 

She is survived by her loving children, Carlos Garcia Baker and Tiffany (Baker) Patton as well as her sisters Bettye (Baker) Kammerer, Barbara (Reed) Baker and brothers, Paul Baker, David Baker, and James Baker, and her grandchildren, Aaron Lee, Joseph Castillo, and Endia Williams. 

 

Nancy was an artist in her younger years and loved to paint and sketch.  As she got older, her efforts focused on being a mother and a homemaker, but she always produced beautiful works of art with cross-stitch and needlepoint.  

 

Nancy loved animals and was especially fond of cats, having many feline friends over the years.  

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Donnie Whitlow will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
