Nancy Elizabeth Stickler, 82, of Ramsey, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born December 22, 1943, in New Albany, to the late Fount Van Fleet and Margaret “Margie” Springer Van Fleet.  She was formerly employed at Olin Mathieson/the old Indiana Army Ammunition Bag Plant near Charlestown, Indiana, at Hall’s Restaurant in Ramsey, at the Ford Motor Company Louisville Assembly Plant, and at the Wyandotte Water Bottling Company in Central Barren, Indiana.  Nancy was a proud breast cancer survivor and attended Faith Revolution (formerly Household of Faith) in Crandall, Indiana.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Stickler; her son, Troy Eldridge; her daughter, Angel Bruner; her granddaughter, Nicole Zimmerman; her brothers, Raymond L. Van Fleet and James A. Van Fleet; and her sister, Delores A. Hilbert

 

Survivors include her son, Paul Daniel “Danny” Fink (Terri); her daughter, Kellyjean Gettelfinger; her stepson, Duane Stickler (Christine); her stepdaughter, Cheryl Cunningham; her grandchildren, Paul Fink (Sarah), Misty Cawthon (Patrick), Daniel Fink (Jennifer), Latisha Leppert (Dan), Christopher Davis, Alan Bland (Amy), Christa Eldridge (Mark), Kevin Eldridge (Kayla), Wynne and Noah Gettelfinger (and their father, Dean Gettelfinger), Joey Stickler, Katie Stickler, Brittany Crutcher (Brandon), and Chris Cunningham; 16 great grandchildren; and her aunt, Betty Miller.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Dan Leppert and Bill Raine will officiate.  Burial will be in Byrneville Cemetery in Byrneville, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Paul Fink, Daniel Fink, Chris Davis, Alan Bland, Kevin Eldridge, Noah Gettelfinger, Joey Stickler and Chris Cunningham.
