Mildred M. Parks

Mildred M. Parks, 90, of Corydon, died Monday, June 5, 2023, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born February 23, 1933, in Crawford County, Indiana, to the late Omer and Dollie Longest Real.  She was formerly employed at the Adult Learning Center in New Albany and at Farm Bureau Insurance in Corydon, was a member of Corydon Christian Church Disciples of Christ, and loved antiques.   

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Douglas Real; and her sisters, Geneva Bradshaw, Edith Limp, Fleeta Real, and Carrie Real.

Survivors include her husband of 72 years, Estel L. Parks; her sons, David Lee Parks (Robin) and Mark Lee Parks (Susanna) both of Corydon; her daughter, Cathy Marie Mann (Vernon) of Corydon; her sister, Nancy J. Jones (Ronnie) of Carmel, Indiana; 8 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in the English Cemetery in English, Indiana.
