Michael Steven Simler

Michael Steven Simler, 32, of Central, died Saturday, December 18, 2021, at his home near Central.  He was born March 24, 1989 in Corydon.  He was employed at the Ford Motor Company Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry and Linda Simler; and his uncle, Bryan Simler.

Survivors include his parents, Steven and Mindy Simler of Central, and Lynnette Simler of New Salisbury; his grandparents, Joe and Leola Nichols of New Salisbury; his brother, Andrew Simler (Ashton) of Central; and his nephew, Colt Simler.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Mike McCarty will officiate.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew, Colt and Bryson Simler, Nolan Brightman, B.J. Carty, Ben Elliott, Kenton Acton, Cameron Teeter and Brett Eads.
