Michael R. Miller, Sr.

Michael R. Miller, Sr., 71, of Mauckport, died Saturday, July 11, 2020, at his home near Mauckport.  He was born April 24, 1949, in Monon, Indiana, to the late Roy Miller, Sr. and Stella Senzenska Miller.  He was an independent concessionaire, was a member of Mauckport United Methodist Church, the Pisgah Masonic Lodge #32 F&AM in Corydon, Shriner’s in Louisville, Kentucky, the Scottish Rite in Indianapolis, Indiana, and NICA, was a Kentucky Colonel and was a lifetime member of the NRA.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Roy Miller, Jr.; and his sister, Alberta Storc.

Survivors include his wife, Karen Lee Hensley Miller; his sons, Michael R. Miller, Jr. and Shawn V. Miller (Jennifer) both of Mauckport; his sisters, Bea Gehm of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Deloris Spencer or DeLand, Florida; and his grandchildren, Clayton Miller, Michalynn Miller, Abi Miller, Ashlee Miller, and Kassidy Miller.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Hyland Cemetery near Mauckport.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Mike, Shawn and Clayton Miller, John Ford, Darrin Windell, and Shawn Gray.
