Michael Lewis Cline Obituary

Michael Lewis Cline, 82, of Corydon, Indiana, died Monday, November 24, 2025, at Baptist Health Louisville.  He was born August 13, 1943, in Corydon, to the late Lewis O. and Annis Kathryn Reising Cline.  He was a retired welder and metal fabricator with CSX Railroad in Louisville, was the former owner/operator of Cline’s Auto Sales in Georgetown, Indiana for 19 years, and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Old Capitol Aerie #2794 and the Corydon Moose Lodge #2493 all in Corydon.  Mike was a talented knife maker, had a deep passion for rabbit hunting and beagle breeding, was an avid gardener, loved hunting, fishing, shooting and boating, and was the proud owner of his beloved dogs, Red, Boog, Sissy, Missy and Little Girl.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Valeria L. Cline DeWeese; and his sister, Sherry L. Cline.

 

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jane E. Melton Cline; his son, Jerry G. Cline (Jill); his grandchildren, Kitty Cline and Jordan DeWeese; his great granddaughter, Kennedy DeWeese; his brother, Keith Cline (Kelly); and his sisters, Rita Elswick, Diane Franks (David) and Kathryn “Kack” Goodlett (Doug).

 

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family would like to extend a very special “Thank You” to Gene Kinslow for his kindness and friendship that he shared with Mike.
