Michael F. Friedman, 69, of Corydon, Indiana, died Sunday, December 28, 2025, at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born April 6, 1956, in Jasper, Indiana, to the late Ermin and Kathryn Fuhs Friedman. He was a retired train conductor at CSX Railroad after 36 years, attended Alpha & Omega Full Gospel Church near New Salisbury, Indiana, and was very active in the horseshoe, boating, art and woodworking clubs at the Lake Region Village retirement community in Haines City, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Margie Bachman.
Survivors include his wife, Donna L. Bair Friedman; his son, Andrew Friedman (Craig); his daughters, Nicole Harbaugh (Bob) and Brianne Smith (Travis); his grandchildren, Emily Goodman (Weston), Carter Smith (Quin), Allie Harbaugh and Addison Smith; his sisters, Shirley Schipp (Francis), Camie Ferguson (Bob) and Patty Bilinski (George); and his brother in-law, Kenny Bachman.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Mark Carnahan will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bob Harbaugh, Travis Smith, Carter Smith, Weston Goodman, Justin Tedrow and Doug Bachman. Honorary pallbearers will be Emily Goodman, Allie Harbaugh, Addison Smith and Quin Smith.
