Michael E. "Michael T" Traughber

Michael E. “Michael T” Traughber, 73, of Corydon, died Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at his home near Corydon.  He was born February 21, 1949, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Charles and Clara Mae Clunie Traughber.  He was a retired truck driver for Thorntons, was a member of the Seed of Abraham Motorcycle Club and ABATE of Indiana, and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Stephen L. Traughber.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Kay Meriwether Traughber; his son, Christopher M. Traughber (Patti) of Corydon; his daughter, Emily L. Burgess (Patrick) of Pewee Valley, Kentucky; his sister, Pam King (Gordon) of Lanesville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Stephan Michael Traughber (Courtney), Caselyn Traughber, and Tanner Carlisle Burgess; and his great grandchildren, Levi, Cami, and Tobi.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Kevin Hatfield will officiate.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
