Mary “Louise” Craig Alstott, 84, of Corydon, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at her home in Corydon. She was born December 11, 1936, in Corydon, to the late Clarence E. and Mary Pitman Craig. Louise was the bookkeeper and owner of Alstott’s Hometown Hardware with her husband, Marvin, and was a member of Fountain United Methodist Church near Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin L. Alstott; her brothers, Loran, Omer, Melvin, Carmen, Gerald, Norman, Eldon and Stanley Craig; and her sister, Bernetta Baelz.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne Alstott (Veronica) of Corydon and Craig Alstott (Melissa) of Martinsville, Indiana; her daughters, Pam Alstott of Bailey, Colorado and Marva Alstott of Corydon; her grandchildren, Adam, Sarah, Michael, Hayden and Colton Alstott; and her great granddaughter, Lizzie Alstott.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Fountain United Methodist Church near Corydon. Rev. Tom McGilliard will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Friday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Fountain United Methodist Church.
Pallbearers will be Adam, Sarah, Michael, Hayden and Colton Alstott, and Jeremy Albin.
