Mary Eliece Wallbrown, 95, of English, died Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon. She was born October 2, 1924, in Livingston, Kentucky, to the late Oscar and Sudie Summers Parks. She was formerly employed at M. Fine and Sons Shirt Factory in New Albany, at ARPAC Chicken Processing in Corydon, as a production foreman at Olin Mathieson Chemical Corporation, and at the old Indiana Army Ammunition Plant near Charlestown, and was a member of Tower Full Gospel Church near Carefree, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie A. Wallbrown; her daughter, Eva Lena Bright and her husband, Don; her daughter in law, Vera Culbertson Wallbrown; her grandsons, Michael Kent Watson and Tracy Dale Watson; her brothers, Ben, Herschel, Oscar Jr., Amos and Daniel LeRoy Parks; and her sisters, Bertie Byerley, Anna Marie Parks, Lucille Faulkner and Vivian Pauline Parks.
Survivors include her son, Ronnie Dale Wallbrown of English, Indiana; her daughter, Ruth Faye Watson (Michael) of Central, Indiana; her sister, Lena Mae Cox of Leavenworth, Indiana; her grandchildren, Regina Glass (Bobby), Jason Watson (Tara), Teresa Smith (Gregg), Valerie Wallbrown, Travis Wallbrown (Sheila) and Olivia Wallbrown; her great grandchildren, Felecia Deemer, Bobby Pentecost, Aaron Glass, and Noah, Elizabeth, Cooper, Conner and Teddy Wallbrown; and her great great grandson, Brayden Pentecost.
Funeral services will be private at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Tower Full Gospel Church near Carefree. Rev. Travis Wallbrown and Rev. Doug Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Bloom Riddle Cemetery near Leavenworth.
Private visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Tower Full Gospel Church or Bloom Riddle Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Watson, Travis and Noah Wallbrown, Aaron Glass, Gregg Smith, Kaleab Scott Combs, Jerome Byerley, and Tim and Zachary Jackson.
