Martha Ellen McAdams

Martha Ellen McAdams, 75, of Corydon, died Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.  She was born April 4, 1947 in Crawford County, Indiana.  Martha was a homemaker, loved quilting and woodworking with her husband, Carl, and especially loved the holidays and Christmas shopping for her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. McAdams, Sr.; her parents, Laura Gabbard Sturgil and Claude Sturgil; her father, Levi Allen Hobbs; her son, Steven A. McAdams; her daughter, Sherry L. White; and her granddaughter, Lea Turner.

Survivors include her sons, Carl E. McAdam, Jr. (Michelle) of Elizabeth, Indiana, Michael R. McAdams (Marla) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and William C. McAdams of Corydon; her daughter, Karen E. Humphrey (Chris) of Brandenburg, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Levi McAdams, Ethan McAdams, Lacey McAdams, Lane McAdams, Sommer McAdams, Zack Humphrey, Matt Humphrey, and Robert Herall; and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Natalie, Layton, Paisley, and Callum.

There will be a memorial visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
