Martha Magdaline Brown

Martha Magdaline Brown, 88, of Corydon, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at her home in Corydon. She was born March 13, 1938, in Milltown, Indiana, to the late Guy and Lula Haycox Slaughterback.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James William Brown; and 6 of her siblings.

Survivors include her daughters; Deborah Brown-Papp (Kenneth) and Jill Brown; and her brother, George Slaughterback.

Out of respect for Martha’s wishes, services will be private. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Corydon.
