Marilyn Ruth Miller, 87, of Corydon, died Sunday, June 20, 2021, at her home in Corydon. She was born March 14, 1934, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Frank and Martha Deuser Hill. She worked as a secretary for Channel 32 News and ran her family business, P.A. Banet Plumbing and Heating, was a member of First Capital Christian Church in Corydon, loved to play Euchre, Pinochle and BUNCO, work puzzles and gardening and tending to her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Ronald Patrick Miller and Glen H. Stephenson; her brothers, Wilbur, Bobby, David and Darrell Hill; and her sisters, Jeannie Ledbetter and Kathleen Metcalf.
Survivors include her sons, Dale Banet (Marybel) of Bonnieville, Kentucky and James “Jim” Banet (Denise) of Memphis, Indiana; her daughter, Paula Stephenson (Mike Gieseler) of Corydon; her brother, Paul Hill (Barbara) of New Albany; her sister, Joyce Condra of Clarksville, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jason Banet, Brian Banet, Justin Banet, Cory Martin, Jessica Martin, Kaitlyn Wehmeyer, Ashley Banet, Blaise Abbott, and Max Abbott; 5 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, 201, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Randy Kirk will officiate. Burial will be in Hursttown Cemetery near Corydon.
Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
