Marie I. Robinson

Marie I. Robinson, 102, of Marengo, Indiana, died Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Baptist Health Louisville.  She was born July 30, 1921, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late William and Flora Blackburn Smith.  She attended Trinity Assembly of God Church near Corydon, and loved reading and westerns.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifford W. Robinson; her sons, Ricky, Ronald, Robert and Larry Robinson; her granddaughter, Pamela Wofford; her brothers, Clyde, Raymond, Eddie and Shelva Smith; and her sisters, Mildred Bottles and Ola Nales.

Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Wofford of San Ramon, California and Joyce Sturgill of Marengo; and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Paul Greer will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be after 12:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
