Margie Miller

Margie Miller, 97, of Corydon, died Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Collin’s Foster Home near Corydon.  She was born April 4, 1925, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late William and Adele Schneider Blank.  She was a 97 year member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Corydon, was a 4-H leader for over 20 years, was a Farm Bureau Women’s Leader, and was employed as a designer at Hickman Flowers for over 40 years.  Margie made and decorated cakes for many occasions, quilted many quilts for her church and family, and loved her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 72 years, Stanley Elmer Miller; her granddaughter, Ashley Marian Miller; her great grandchildren, Gabrielle Marjorie Consolino and Alexander John Mullett; and her brothers, Earl, Stanley and Russell Blank.

Survivors include her son, Lynn Stanley Miller (Laura) of Corydon; her daughters, Deanna Kay Jensen (Herbert) of Indianapolis, Indiana and Elaine Sue McIntosh (Michael) of Muncie, Indiana; her brother, Howard Blank (Peggy) of Minnesota; her sister, Marilyn Boyd (John) of Crandall, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jennifer Jensen, Timothy Jensen (Katie), Julie Jensen, Jamie Hull (Jon), James Jensen (Talnisha), Rebecca Radcliff (James), Chassidy Jensen, Dacota Jensen Woods, Michelle Stimpson (Morris), Karissa Mullett (Chris), Matthew Miller, Annalea O. Greer (A.J.), and Curtis Miller; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Eli, Miriam, Justice, Jianna, Meliana, Tristan, Taylor, Tenley, Austinn, Chaz, Hunter, Lincoln, Ellie, Vincent, Dominic, Charlotte, Nicholas, Ryker, and Raylynn.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2022, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Corydon.  Rev. Dr. Evangeline Anderson Rajkumar will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 12:00 p.m. Sunday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon

Pallbearers will be Curtis Miller, Matthew Miller, A. J. Greer, Timothy Jensen, James Radcliff, Chris Mullett, Morris Stimpson and John W. Boyd.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
