Margaret Y. (Robinson) Myers, 84, of New Salisbury, Indiana, formerly of the Glendale, Indiana area, died Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the Norton Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born August 13, 1937, in Glendale, to the late Ellis Harrison Robinson and Margaret Avanelle (Jones) Robinson. She worked as a secretary for over 20 years and was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon, Indiana, was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #461 in Glendale, was a member of the Order of Rebekah in Washington, Indiana, and was a past Guardian of Job’s Daughters Bethel #6 in Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur George Myers; her brothers, William David Robinson, Marcus Maurice Robinson, and Elijah Harold Robinson; and her sister, Ruth Anna Robinson.
Survivors include her son, Keith A. Myers of New Salisbury; her daughter, Dawn K. Wrinn (Joseph Allan) of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and her brother, Joseph Ellis Robinson (Renee) of Columbus, Georgia.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon. Rev. Andy Hansen will officiate. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the New Veale Creek Cemetery in Washington, Indiana.
Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Old Capitol United Methodist Church.
