Margaret C. "Margie" Patterson Obituary

Margaret C. “Margie” Patterson, 74, of Belding, Michigan, formerly of Corydon, died Thursday, September 8, 2022, at her home in Belding.  She was born November 2, 1947, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Clarence and Lydia Cunningham Crecelius.  She was a retired office manager and was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Greenville, Michigan.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Donald Crecelius; and her sister, Virginia Pate.

 

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Edward L. Patterson, Sr.; her son, Edward L. Patterson, Jr. of Belding; her beloved friend, Amelia Klocke, whom she considered a daughter of Greenville; her brother, Albert Crecelius (Nancy) of Corydon; and her sisters, Barbara Rutherford, Leola Nichols, and Daisy Rutherford all of Corydon.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Dr. Evangeline Anderson-Rajkumar will officiate.  Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
