Marcia Lynn Riggs, 63, of Corydon, Indiana, died Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at her home near Corydon.  She was born November 13, 1961, in Corydon.  She was retired from General Electric in Louisville, Kentucky and attended Lincoln Hill Christian Church in Corydon.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome K. Simcox; her sons, Billy Ray Riggs, Jr. and Kaylan Riggs; and her brother, Scott Simcox;

 

Survivors include her mother, Virginia Daily Willcutt (Joseph) of Corydon; her husband, Billy Ray Riggs, Sr.; her daughters, Stephanie R. Jacobs and Katie Lynn Riggs (Jason Fillmore) both of Corydon; her grandchildren, Alaxis Jacobs, Shane Jacobs and MaKayla Riggs; and her sisters, Cathy Saltsgaver of Central, Indiana and Darla Decker (Joey) of Corydon.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Webster Oglesby will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Larry King, Tony Bary, Shane Jacobs, Jason Fillmore, Joey Decker and Alan Decker.
