Marcella "Mae" Crane

Marcella “Mae” Crane, 80, of Depauw, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon.  She was born August 12, 1940, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Harry C. and Elma E. Thevenot Grabill.  She was a homemaker and was a member of Fountain United Methodist Church near Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lowell E. Crane; her brother, Jake Grabill; and her sisters, Catherine “Katie” Johnson, Mary Ellis and Margaret Robson.

Survivors include her daughters, Rita Crane and Beverly Freeman both of Corydon; her grandchildren, Joey and Michelle Freeman; and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Tom McGilliard will officiate.  Burial will be in Pitman Cemetery near Depauw.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Pitman Cemetery.
