Lucy Ellen Riddle, 84, of Louisville, died Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Todd-Dickey Nursing & Rehabilitation in Leavenworth, Indiana.  She was born June 22, 1940, in Alton, Indiana, to the late Hubert and Lucy Parr Pearson.  She was employed as a Nutrition Service Manager with the Jefferson County Kentucky Public School System for 27 years and was a member of Fern Creek Christian Church,

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Julie Riddle; and her sister, Janie Lynch.

 

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Rodney D. Riddle; her son, Paul Riddle (Amanda) of Louisville; her daughter, Lori Dewboys (Bryan) of Leopold, Indiana; her sisters, Mary Helen Conklin of Clarksville, Indiana and Elizabeth Saltsgaver (Joe) of Ingalls, Indiana; her grandchildren, Kyle Dewboys (Shelby), Seth Dewboys (Hannah), Jake Dewboys, Alexis Riddle, and Jackson Riddle; and her great grandson, Asher Dewboys.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Marvin Culver and Rev. Paul Holt will officiate.  Burial will be in Bloom-Riddle Cemetery near Alton.

 

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Kyle Dewboys, Seth Dewboys, Jake Dewboys, Jackson Riddle, Jimmy Conklin, John Conklin, and Keith Lynch.
