Lucille Saltsgaver, 88, of Corydon, Indiana, died Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon.  She was born January 18, 1937, in Crawford County, Indiana, to the late Robert and Minnie Ellen Cole Summers. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Arnold Cox and John E. Saltsgaver; and 13 siblings.

 

Survivors include her son, Darrell Cox (Rebecca), her daughter, Pamela Herbaugh; her step daughter, Deborah Lorenz; her grandchildren, Kevin Cox (Judie), Trevor Cox (Debbie), Leatus Reed, Elizabeth Neighbors (Jared), Justin Herbaugh (Gretchen), and Davina Austin (Scott); her great grandchildren, Kerstin Cox, Klar Early (Jackson), Dillion Cox (Cheyenne), Tommy Cox, Elizabeth Cox, Landon Neighbors, Garrett Herbaugh, Shelby Austin, Savannah Austin, Everett Austin, and Cooper Austin; and her great great grandchildren, Vivian Cox and Cora Cox.

 

There will be a memorial visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Thompson’s Chapel Cemetery near Depauw, Indiana.
