Lloyd K. Windell, 75, of Corydon, Indiana, died Monday, August 11, 2025.  He was born October 1, 1949, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Darrell Joe Windell and Carletta Lea Crecelius Windell.  He was a retired electrical lineman and co-owner of D.J. Windell Inc., was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and loved farming, riding motorcycles and most of all spending time with his family.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jonathan Windell.

 

Survivors include his wife, Vivian K. Smith Windell; his son, Lee Woodrow Windell (Dia); his daughters, Joy Joellen Windell Eckart (John) and Dana Rae Lowe (Jack); his grandchildren, Brooklyn Walker (Isaiah), Courtney Hayse (Lucas), Alley Windell, Gavin Lang (Briana), Chase Lang (Destiny), Dawson Lang, and Caitlin Gilley (Randy); his great grandchildren, Willamina Walker, Dixie Lang, Trax Lang, and Eleazar Gilley; his brother, Kenneth Windell (Marquita); and his sisters, Kathryn Keehn (Larry) and Elizabeth Smith (Allen).

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Danny Goodman will officiate.  Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Gavin Lang, Chase Lang, Dawson Lang, Isaiah Walker, Lucas Hayse, and Randy Gilley.
