Linda Sue Watson Obituary

Linda Sue Watson, 73, of Corydon, died Friday, December 23, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born February 19, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was formerly employed in cardiac imaging at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana and at the New Albany/Floyd County School Corporation, and was a member of Highland Baptist Church in Georgetown, Indiana.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Ruth Smith Stahl; her father, Donald Morgan; and her husband, Bruce Marshall Watson.

 

Survivors include her son, William “Bill” Watson (Lisa) of Corydon; her granddaughter, Morgan Watson; and her brothers, David Laug of Cincinnati, James “Jim” Stahl of Florida, and Timothy “Tim” Stahl of Cincinnati.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Mike Kurz will officiate.  Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Central, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Morgan Watson, Jim Stahl, Tim Stahl, Robert Ramstetter, Gerard Carrico, Arlis Coffman, and Donald Mathes.
