Linda Sue Becker

Linda Sue Becker, 73, of Corydon, died Friday, August 14, 2020, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon, after a long illness. She was born June 30, 1947, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Charles “Cheese” and Norma Pheffer Becker. She graduated from Corydon Central High School in 1965, and attended Indiana University at Bloomington. She retired from the U.S. Census Bureau in 2006, after 25+ years. Linda was a lifelong member of the Corydon Presbyterian Church, at one time serving as Deacon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and an uncle, John Becker.

She is survived by her brother, Barry “Bear” Becker; a nephew, Chris Becker; and several cousins, including Margaret Ellen Meyer.

The family wishes to thank Linda’s caregivers at Harrison Healthcare who had become like family to her.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Corydon Presbyterian Church.
