Lida Ann Brockman, 85, of Georgetown, Indiana, boarded Heaven’s glory train the morning of Wednesday, December 31, 2025. She was born September 25, 1940, was the only child of the late John A. and Margaret “Marg” (Spatig) Watson, was raised in Corydon, Indiana, graduated from Corydon Central High School and attended Western Kentucky University. Lida was an avid history buff and family ancestry historian and was a member of Georgetown Christian Church. She married the love of her life, Alton L. “Al” Brockman, on August 4, 1958 and to this union came 4 children, Tracy, Lori, Amy and John.
Survivors include her children, Tracy Hook (Michael) of Lowell, Arkansas, Lori Brockman of Georgetown, Amy Johnson (Kenneth) of Georgetown and John Brockman of Georgetown; was a proud grandma of her 9 grandchildren, Charles, Zac, Alex, Daniel, Morgan, Cody, Aaron, Blake and Conner, of which she loved attending their sporting events; her 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial will be in Wolfe Cemetery near Georgetown.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Charles Jenney, Zac Hook, Daniel Jenney, Cody Banet, Aaron Brockman, Blake Brockman and Conner Brockman.
