Lawrence L. Baker Obituary

 

Lawrence Logan Baker, 82, died Tuesday, January 26, 2021.  He was born August 15, 1938, in Palmyra, Indiana, to the late Logan and Garnet Hoten Baker.  He was a farmer, was a deacon and member of the Corydon Church of Christ and was a U. S. Army veteran.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandsons, Lee Baker and Jamie Timberlake; and his brother, Darrell Baker.

 

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Sue Motsinger Baker; his sons, Larry W. Baker (JoAnn) of Lanesville, Indiana and Jerry A. Baker (Gwen) of Corydon; his daughters, Sherri L. Timberlake (Jim) of Corydon and Terri Ann Wilson (Dennis) of Sycamore, Ohio; his grandchildren, Carrie Simler (Jason), Curtis Riddle (Dawn), Jeremy Baker (Brittany), Reba Stice (Michael) , Daniel Wise (Jenny), Jenna Walston (Brett), John Timberlake (Baylie), Ashley Haugh (Mitch), Amber Adkins (Issac) and Megan and Rachel Wilson; his great grandchildren, Ava and Carson Simler, Austin and Chloe Riddle, JoAnn, Weston and Colton Baker, Noah Childers, Ryan and Taylor Walston, Jackson Haugh and Cora Adkins; and his brother, Earl Baker of Palmyra.

 

Funeral service will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.   Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to his church.
