Larry A. McCullum, “alias Chainsaw”, 73, of Plant City, Florida, died March 7, 2024 at South Florida Hospital in Plant City. He was born April 18, 1950, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late Erenest D. and Jeanette Smith McCullum. He was a former construction worker and a U. S. Marine serving in Vietnam. Larry was a wonderful grandfather, loving brother and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends when he visited his home in Indiana. His nephews and nieces enjoyed listening to his stories for hours and will miss him very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Audron and Nellie McCullum; his maternal grandparents, Robert & Pauline Harvey; his brother Bobby McCullum; and his brother in law, Roger McCauley.
Survivors include his children, Larry, McCullum, Jessica McCullum and April Lobe; his grandchildren Maverick, Logan, Mason, Destiny, McKinssey and Kaitlynn; his sisters, Phyllis McCauley of Paoli, Indiana, Nelda Hanes (Ed) of Clarksville, Indiana and Diana Hines of Corydon, Indiana; and his close friend, Lisa Cummings.
Local arrangements are being handled by Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home.
