L.C. Nash, 83, of Corydon, Indiana, died Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.  He was born May 17, 1941, near Corydon Junction, to the late Paul Raymond and Julia “Irene” Best Nash.  He was the former owner/proprietor of New Salisbury Golf Course, was the owner of L.C. Nash Insurance Agency in New Salisbury, was a member of the maintenance crew at Old Capital Golf Club in Corydon, and was a member of New Salisbury United Methodist Church.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ellen Kennedy Nash; and his sisters, Doris Jean Zink and Frieda Mae McCreery.

 

Survivors include his son, Kevin L. Nash (Janene) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana; his daughter, Cindy A. Magner (Todd) of New Salisbury; and his grandchildren, Evin Magner (Kenzie) and Kennedy Nash.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. James Gentry will officiate.  Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery near Crandall, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Rick Pflanz, Dave Coulter, Bill Hollingsworth, Chase Best, Dalton Morgan and Michael Wiseman.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Jones, Corky Saulman and Bud Bolen.
