Kelvin D. Wiseman, 67, of Mauckport, died Thursday, December 14, 2023, at his home near Mauckport.  He was born March 30, 1956, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Wayne H. and Kathleen W. Timberlake Wiseman.  He was retired from Breitburn Operating L P and was a farmer, was a member of Hyland Christian Church near Mauckport, the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Corydon and the Corydon Moose Lodge, and loved hunting, fishing, farming, UK basketball, his man cave, and Sunday dinners with his family.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Ronnie and Vic Wiseman; and his sister, Marla Jo Dayvault.

 

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Doris C. Melton Wiseman; his sons, Dewayne A. Wiseman (Laura) of Jeffersonville, Indiana and Deavon W. Wiseman (Iris) of Palmyra, Indiana; his daughter, Selena W. Kincaid (Jerry) Corydon; his grandchildren, Danielle, Dylan, Emily, Keaton, Waylon and Paxton; and his sister, Nancy E. Cline of Corydon.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Donnie Whitlow and Pastor Denzil Wiseman will officiate.  Burial will be in Central Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Brad Wiseman, Jason Melton, Joshua Melton, Jason Thornton, Scott Needler and Nick Pipes.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Draper, Gary Lawrence and Scott Dayvault.
