Katherine Christine Price Raffensberger

Katherine Christine Price Raffensberger, 82, of Laconia, died Monday, June 14, 2021, at her home near Laconia.  She was born August 5, 1938, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late Amzie and Edna Shields Prage.  She was a clerical worker at Harrison County Health Department and Waste Management, Inc. both in Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Frederick William Raffensberger and Kenneth Price; and her brother, Ernie Prage.

Survivors include her son, William Joseph McDonald of Portland, Oregon; her daughters, Sheila Vaught of Laconia, and Brenda Price and Pam Byrne both of Corydon; her grandchildren, Josh, Aaron and Anthony Vaught and Denver Bays; and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Richard Goodwin will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Aaron and Anthony Vaught, Denver Bays, Travis Byrne, Anthony McDonald and Bill Kintner.
