Karen Suzanne Hogan, 72, of Elizabeth, died Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born August 24, 1950 in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was a retired art teacher at New Albany High School and was a member of the Elizabeth Presbyterian Church of the Covenant.  She was a Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Grandmother, artist, teacher, nature enthusiast, a fan of warm tea and a good book, a patient and strong matriarch, and creative until the very end. 

 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mable Marie Click.

 

Survivors include her husband, Timothy Edward Hogan; her sons, Casey Hogan (Jessica) of Sellersburg, Indiana and Patrick Hogan (Ellen Weingardt) of Louisville; her sister, Mary Jane Jueckstock of Louisville; and her grandson, Huxley Hogan.

 

There will be a memorial visitation from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
