Judy Jackson, 88, of Corydon, died Sunday, April 26, 2020, at IU Health Bedford in Bedford, Indiana. She was born July 10, 1931, in French Lick, Indiana, to the late Elvis W. and Nola Allstott Beaty. She was a retired teacher at Morgan Elementary School near Palmyra and was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth D. Jackson; and her sisters, Billie Harper and Mary Sark.
Survivors include her sons, John Jackson of Shelbyville, Kentucky and Alan Jackson (Karen) of Sebring, Florida; her daughter, Kathy Stroud (Phillip) of Paoli, Indiana; her grandchildren, Scott Jackson, Kevin Jackson, Kelly Jackson, Kristin Proctor, Ryan Stroud and Ross Stroud; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
