Joyce Mills

Joyce Mills, 82, of Depauw, died Sunday, January 24, 2021, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.  She was born August 22, 1938, in Knott County, Kentucky, to the late Gardner and Jane Bolen.  She was a member of the Milltown American Legion Post #332 Ladies Auxiliary and the Central Barren United Methodist Church, and she attended Potato Run United Methodist Church near Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse Eugene Mills; her brothers, Worley and Winford Bolen; and her sister, Chelcia Miller.

Survivors include her son, Terry D. Mills of Rineyville, Kentucky; her daughter, Kathy E. Fessel (Tom) of New Salisbury, Indiana; her brothers, Theodore Bolen of New Albany, Carl Bolen of Indiana, and David Bolen, Sr. of Brandenburg, Kentucky; her sister, Loice Wood of Depauw; and her grandchildren, Dakota, Kaleb, and Luke Painter.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Norman Lasley will officiate.  Burial will be in Milltown Cemetery in Milltown, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
