Joy Ann Frakes, 50, of New Albany, Indiana, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.  She was born April 23, 1974, in Corydon, Indiana, to Virginia Kay Lofton Frakes and the late Dallas Allen Frakes.  She was formerly employed at Wal-Mart in Corydon and at Meijers in New Albany.  Joy loved reading, movies, and collectables.

 

Survivors include her forever love, Doug Jackson; her mother, Virginia; her sisters, Patti Boris (Ray) and Cindy Boris (Frank); and her niece, Bethany “Beth” Lavenski (Thomas).

 

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
