Johnnie Beatrice Lachowicz

Johnnie Beatrice Lachowicz, 88, of Grantsburg, Indiana, died Monday, May 14, 2018, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born December 24, 1929, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to the late John Ahart and Rosie L. Sides Bartlett.  She formerly worked as a waitress and a roofer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Jackie W. and David L. Vinson; her daughter, Rose Ann Taft; her step father, Wallace Bartlett; and her sister, Jeannie Ashenfelter.

Survivors include her sons, Loyd R. Vinson of Grantsburg, Indiana, Terry A. Vinson of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Michael E. Vinson of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; her daughter, Peggy Lynn Luckett of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Jim Higdon will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be after 12:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
