John J. Sizemore, Sr.

John J. Sizemore, Sr., 62, of Corydon, died Monday, October 12, 2020, at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born October 30, 1957, in Ashland, Kentucky, to the late John B. and Georgia Anne Kelley Kunnecke.  He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Louisville, was an active member of AMBUCS, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Bannon Sizemore of Lawton, Oklahoma; his son, John J. Sizemore, Jr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his daughter, Adina Klotz (Mitch) of Georgia; his brothers, Robert A. Sizemore (Sammy) of Marietta, Georgia, Jon M. Sizemore (Tammy) of Greenup, Kentucky, and Jason Sizemore of Lexington, Kentucky; his sisters, Lisa Burch (Greg) of Corydon, and Gail Murray of Austin, Texas; and his grandchildren, Amelia, Milo, Teegan and his fourth grandchild due in March.

Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Donnie Whitlow will officiate.  Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, Kentucky.

Visitation will be after 12:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
