John Denton Frank, 94, of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, formerly of Mauckport, Indiana, died Monday, August 12, 2024, at his home near Floyds Knobs.  He was born April 27, 1930, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Hobart and Velva Pindell Frank.  He was retired from H.J. Scheirich Company in Louisville, Kentucky, was a member of the Pythagoras F&AM Masonic Lodge #355 in New Albany, Indiana, was a member of the United Methodist faith, having attended the Galena United Methodist Church and the Mauckport United Methodist Church, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, John Anthony “Tony” Frank.

 

Survivors include his wife, Donna Jean Lopp Frank; his son, Daniel D. Frank (Diana); his grandchildren, Tara D. Haskins (Brian), Daniel D. Frank II (Athena), David A. Frank and Dana M. Reams (Brandon); and his great grandchildren, Dylan Young, Coby Young, Logan Young and Lettie Reams.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Chaplain Shannon Queenan will officiate.  Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery near Laconia, Indiana.

 

Masonic Rites will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

 

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m.- 7: 00 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2024, and after 9:00 a.m. Monday, August 26, 2024, at the funeral home.
