John D. “Johnny” Hoback, 63, of Corydon, Indiana, died Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born June 18, 1962, in Louisville, to the late Otho Junior Hoback and Mary Goldie Cecil Hoback.  He was a retired truck driver with Tyson Foods and Waste Management both in Corydon.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Kenny Hoback.

 

Survivors include his brother, Archie Hoback; his niece and nephews, Jessica Harrell, Damon Miller (Hannah), and Jacob Hoback (Danielle); and his great nephew and nieces, Steven Harrell, Makayla Harrell, Addison Wright, Baylee Hoback, and Charlee Hoback.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Blue River Chapel Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Jacob Hoback, Damon Miller, Jim Wright, Ed Wright, Mitch Wise, James Salings, Steven Harrell, and Makayla Harrell.
