Joann M. Uesseler

Joann M. Uesseler, 91, of Lanesville, Indiana, died Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born August 10, 1930, in New Albany, to the late William H. and Rosetta Ott Groher.  Joann was a talented artist, seamstress and sculptor, and she absolutely loved to cook. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Billy Groher.

Survivors include her husband, William H. “Bill” Uesseler; her sons, Ron Uesseler (Kim) and Steve Uesseler (Bozena) both of Lanesville, and Doug Uesseler (Becky) of Corydon, Indiana; her grandchildren, Justin, Meredith, Marcin, Agnes, Ian, Ariel, Danielle, and Drew; and her great grandchildren, Felix, Alex, and Evie.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery in New Middletown, Indiana.

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ian, Drew and Justin Uesseler, and Felix Walther.
