JoAnn Silvey Kline

JoAnn Silvey Kline, 95, of Corydon, died Monday, October 2, 2023, at Cedar Court Assisted Living in Corydon.  She was born March 6, 1928, in Linton, Indiana, to the late Fred O. and Edna Krischak Silvey.  She was a homemaker and was a member of Old Capitol Church in Corydon. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son in law, Bill Baelz; her brother, Fred Silvey, Jr.; and her sister, Myra Orman.

Survivors include her husband, Howard “Red” Kline; her daughters, Kristine Harper (Don) of Fort Myers, Florida, Kathleen Baelz of Corydon, and Karla Williams (Bill) of Fort Myers; her grandchildren, Jennifer Pertner (Don), Sandra Lawrence (Nick), Stan Baelz (Rachel), Billy Baelz (Brook), Chris Baelz (Adrienne), Beth Luther (Josh), Brian Williams (Julie), and Brad Williams (Renee); and her great grandchildren, Derek, Harper, Cody, Jenna, Hadlee, Lilly, Katie, Jacob, Emma, Avery, Cayden, Brinlee, Monroe, Tyler, and Connor.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Andy Hansen and Pastor Allen Edwards will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Stan Baelz, Billy Baelz, Chris Baelz, Cody Baelz, Brian Williams, and Brad Williams.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Old Capitol Church in Corydon.
