James "Jim" Wise, 66, of Corydon, went to be with the lord on Friday, December 15, 2023, at Baptist Health Louisville.  He was born October 20, 1957, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert "Red" Donald and Joyce R. Hull Wise.  He was a truck driver, having last driven for Decker Truck Line in Fort Dodge, Iowa, he was a high school graduate, a jokester and full of love. 

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Joseph, William and Walter Wise; his sisters, Patricia Wise and Debra Yoder; and his niece Jill Sunderlin.

 

Survivors include his daughter, Mandy Rene Wise; his brothers, Robert 'Buster" and Ward Wise; his sisters, Mary Jo Wise, Linda Sunderlin and Rhonda Sunderlin; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 9 loving nieces and nephews; and 13 great nieces and nephews, including Tyler and Melissa Hubler and their children, Mason and Kameron, who cared for him.

 

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
