Jewell Sampson, 98, of Corydon, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at her home in Corydon. She was born November 12, 1922, in Delina, Tennessee, to the late Willie and Madeline Beard Adams. She was formerly employed at General Shoe Factory in Lewisburg, Tennessee and at Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon, and was a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Doug Adams; and her sisters, Mildred Allen and Betty Jean Clark.
Survivors include her nephews and nieces, Terry Lee and Wanda Allen, Mick and Chris Allen, Rick and Rachael Allen, Sharron Berry, Pam and Tim Doyle, Steve Adams, Eddie Adams, Beverly Lovelace, and Jeannie Clark.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Friday, July 30, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Andy Hansen will officiate. Entombment will be in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
